A useful website budget covers the build, the running costs and the care that follows. This guide helps Malaysian business owners understand the choices and ask clearer questions.

ZAII SOLUTIONS / LAUNCH

RM549

A focused
one-page start.

One-time development fee.
Domain and hosting are separate.
Scope confirmed in writing.

THREE PARTS OF A WEBSITE BUDGET

Build it. Run it.
Keep it useful.

01

The development fee

Design, WordPress development and the specific pages and features in your quotation. Page count, visual direction, revisions and integrations influence the scope.

02

The running costs

Domain registration and renewal, hosting and any agreed recurring licences. Check initial and renewal charges, billing periods and who owns each account.

03

The care afterwards

Content updates, plugin updates, security monitoring and future improvements. These are distinct from the defined post-launch defect support included in our packages.

START WITH THE JOB YOUR WEBSITE NEEDS TO DO

Different scopes.
Different starting points.

These are ZAII SOLUTIONS package references, not market averages or competitor price claims.

WHAT CHANGES THE QUOTATION

The detail
behind the fee.

A page count is a starting point. The work inside those pages matters too.

Content and page complexity

A short service page and a detailed catalogue need different levels of content and structure. Clarify standard pages, content entry limits and what you will supply.

Visual direction and revisions

Adapting an established layout and developing a more bespoke direction are different scopes. Agree the direction and the number of consolidated revision rounds.

Functionality and integrations

Booking, payment, memberships, custom systems and third-party connections should be identified early. They are not automatically included in a standard website package.

Who prepares the materials

Final copy, branding, approved images and relevant policies are supplied by you. Copywriting, photography, translation and paid assets are separate unless quoted.

DIY OR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Choose how you
want to spend your time.

Both routes need content, ownership decisions and ongoing care. Compare the responsibilities as well as the initial cost.

Build it yourself

Your input: learning the tools, arranging content, building the pages, testing and managing updates.

Costs to check: provider fees, domain, hosting and any templates, licences or add-ons you choose.

Before you commit: check account ownership, renewal pricing and what happens if you move providers.

Work with a developer

Your input: a clear brief, final content, decisions and consolidated feedback.

Costs to check: the agreed development fee, separate running costs and any additional quoted work.

Before you commit: confirm deliverables, revisions, support, account ownership and handover in writing.

DOMAIN / HOSTING / CARE

Keep the essentials
in your name.

Your domain and hosting accounts belong to you and are paid by you. We can help connect an agreed, compatible account within the quoted scope.

Ask for the full running cost

Check domain and hosting renewals, recurring licences, email services and any separate support arrangement. Provider prices vary; request the current charge and billing period directly.

Separate defects from maintenance

Launch includes 14 days of post-launch defect support; Growth and Signature include 30 days. Routine updates, content changes, security monitoring, server administration and third-party outages are separate.

BASIC SEO / A PRACTICAL FOUNDATION

Help people
understand the page.

Our basic SEO scope concerns the page structure and setup stated in your package, such as metadata and headings. Growth and Signature include basic on-page SEO; this is not an ongoing search campaign.

Search visibility also depends on useful content and factors beyond a website build. We do not promise rankings, traffic, enquiries or sales.

COMMON COST QUESTIONS

Ask before
you commit.

Is domain and hosting included in the build fee?

No. The listed package prices are one-time website development fees. You own and pay for domain and hosting; renewals, email setup, server administration and recurring licences are separate unless specifically quoted.

What is the difference between Launch, Growth and Signature?

Launch is a one-page semi-custom website with up to six content sections. Growth includes up to five tailored pages. Signature includes up to seven pages and a more developed bespoke visual direction. Included revision rounds and support periods differ; check the Pricing page and your written quotation.

Does a higher price guarantee more enquiries?

No. A website package defines the work to be delivered. Business results depend on your offer, audience, content and other factors. We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, enquiries or sales.

What happens if I need more changes later?

Included revisions refine the agreed structure and direction. New pages, functionality, a different design direction, ongoing content changes or additional revisions require a separate agreed quotation.

How are payment and handover agreed?

A 50% deposit and 50% before final handover may be offered. All payment terms, any applicable charges, deliverables and handover details are confirmed in the written quotation.
